description- bungee jackets

Our goal is in case of an emergency there would be jackets that allow you to jump out of a building and land without getting hurt. Once an alarm (fire, terrorist attack, etc.) is set off people would grab their bungee jackets and follow the procedures. People from the age of four would know how to follow this kind of drill. Kids would be trained since kinder garden to know how to use the bungee jackets successfully. The jackets aren’t quite jackets at all, but more of a backpack. Once you jump from the window, you pull the straps. The straps activate a rubber cushion to inflate under you. The cushion is shaped like a chair. It fits under you to have a safe landing. The rubber is a carbon based nanotube rubber made by Japanese scientist. It can be twisted, punched, rolled, bent, stretched and kicked; yet it can return to its original state. Which means our bungee jackets can be used many times. This rubber does not shatter on contact and will not melt away. This is key in case of a fire or any extreme temperatures. We all know that in times of emergencies we can all freeze up. Because of this there is a plan B to inflating your bungee jacket. The jacket can feel the speed of how fast you are falling, activating it to inflate.
